Bus Routes

Overview: Colnbrook with Poyle is served by three bus companies, each with their own routes.

The only company to travel through the entire parish is the number 81 bus, operated by London buses. On Mondays through to Saturday, they run approximately four buses an hour at 15 minutes intervals, and on Sundays and Bank Holidays, the service is every 30 minutes. The whole route is from Slough Bus Station to Hounslow Bus Station, with numerous stops along the north side of the airport. A single fare costs £1.50, but passengers can buy weekly, monthly or annual 'Oyster cards' which reduce the cost of a journey to £0.80! The service accepts Freedom Passes and travel is free to 16 and 17 year olds who are in full-time training and education.16 and17yearolds who are not in full-time education are entitled to half price travel on buses, tubes, trains and Docklands Light Railway. You may need to apply for a youth Oyster Card. Further information is available on www.tfl.gov.uk

Ashford Luxury Coaches operate a service which covers Poyle through to the Golden Cross Garage/Horton Road junction. This service links the parish to Staines and the bus number is 305. The services runs Mondays to Saturdays. The fare is £1.30 and Freedom Passes are not accepted on this route. More details can be provided by calling 020 8890 6394.

First Buses also operate services at the Brands Hill end of the parish. The service that stops on the A4 at Brands Hill is the 77. Route 77 links Windsor to Heathrow. There is a limited service on a Sunday. The 75 provides a route from Slough, via Harrow Market, Langley, Sutton Lane and Heathrow Airport. First Buses accepts the Freedom Pass and has a range of fare options, including weekly, monthly and annual season tickets.
