The Village
Hall is located on Vicerage Way in Colnbrook and has ample parking
for approximately 46 cars. Built in 1990, the Village Hall is
run by local volunteers for the benefit of the local community
and regularly hosts a number of thriving community activities such
as Amateur Theatre, Line Dancing and Whist, with the capacity
to host a whole lot more. |

Volunteers:
The Village Hall is run by volunteers. We are always in need of new
blood to continue the work of the existing committee. If you have
some spare time on your hands and want to do your bit for the community
and see this invaluable facility thrive into the future then we want
to hear from you. |

Colnbrook
Amateur Stage Theatre (CAST): www.cast-online.org.uk
CAST have been
based at the Village Hall since their formation in 1990. CAST present
three shows a year for the entertainment of the local community
and would love to see more villagers taking an active part either
on stage or behind the scenes. CAST meet every Monday and Thursday
evening from 8-11pm. Contact the secretary Ruth Cole on 01753 730120

Colnbrook
Residents Association (CRA):
The CRA has been in existence since 1947, and played a leading
role in the fundraising needed to finance the building of the
Village Hall. The CRA meet on the first Thursday of every other
month. If you want more details of how you can help your community
contact the chairman David MacDougald.

Bingo:
Organised by Heather Head on behalf of the CRA, bingo continues
to be a regular attraction at the Village Hall. If you love to
be the one calling 'HOUSE', keep an eye out for the date of the
next meeting. |

Line
Dancing:
AJ's Saloon Stompers have run a successful weekly line-dancing session
at the Village Hall since since early 2005. Aimed at beginners
and intermediate level, line dancing is fun, easy, friendly and
you don't need to bring a partner. If you fancy giving it a go,
contact Andy or Jenny on 01753 684 for further details or pop along
on a Wednesday evening between 7.30 & 10.30pm. |

Whist:
If your a whist fan, why not pop along for a friendly game at the
whist night held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 8pm.
(excluding the summer). |

Parish
Council Meetings: Parish council meetings take place twice
a month at the Village Hall. |

Private
Functions:
The Village Hall is available for private functions, weddings,
parties and celebrations at competitive rates. |

Special
Events:
The hall is often host to special events, both public and private. |
|

Want
To Organise Your Own Event?: Do you have the talent
to organise other new activities? There is scope to run Keep
Fit, Badminton, Music Lessons, Indoor Bowls, Dance Classes and
Arts & Crafts to name but a few. Hire rates are competitive,
so put your thinking caps on and you too could soon be enjoying
the facilities of YOUR village hall. |
